With the addition of this 20-cent Cog Railway stamp, the largest American definitive stamp series of all times was completed. Begun on May 18, 1981, with the issue of the 18-cent surrey stamp, the Transportation Series includes more than 50 different subjects on a total of 62 coil stamps.
